About the NSKP App
The NSKP mobile application is an initiative of the Tripura Building and Other Construction Workers’ Welfare Board (TBOCWWB) to empower unorganized construction workers by improving access to welfare schemes and financial benefits.
Legal Framework
The Building and Other Construction Workers’ (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 1996 governs the employment, safety, health, and welfare of construction workers.
The Building and Other Construction Workers’ Welfare Cess Act facilitates the levy and collection of a cess on construction projects to fund state-level welfare boards like TBOCWWB.
About the Board
- Established on January 20, 2007, under Section 18 of the BOCW (RE&CS) Act, 1996 by the Labour Directorate, Government of Tripura.
- Maintains the Tripura Building and Other Construction Workers’ Welfare Fund as per Rule 268 of the Tripura BOCW (RE&CS) Rules, 2006.
- Registers unorganized construction workers aged 18–59 who have worked at least 90 days under a registered contractor or government engineer in the past year.
- Workers must obtain a Registration Card using Form No.-XXVII from the Labour Officer of their district along with supporting documents.

- Mahila Nirman Shramik Vivaha Yojana – Financial assistance for marriage of female construction workers.
- Maternity Benefit – Support for registered women workers during maternity.
- Education Assistance – Financial aid for children of registered workers.
- Accident Benefit – Assistance in case of accidental injury.
- Medical Assistance – Aid for major ailments treatment of workers or their dependents.
- Pension Scheme – Pension for workers who have completed 60 years of age.
- Death Assistance – Support for family in case of the worker’s death.
- Funeral Assistance – One-time assistance for last rites of the deceased worker.
Privacy Policy
The NSKP app collects minimal personal data required for registration and access to welfare schemes. All information is handled in compliance with data protection norms and used only for the benefit of registered workers. No personal data is shared with third parties without consent.
